Position Summary
MSU Denver's Gina and Frank Day Health Institute is committed to developing the next generation of healthcare professionals through a radically innovative approach to applied education. With programs spanning 10 academic departments, students engage with experts both in and out of the classroom, embodying the interdisciplinary nature of today's healthcare industry. The Evaluation Analyst at Metropolitan State University's Gina and Frank Day Health Institute (HI) is responsible for implementing and overseeing the Institute's evaluation processes for HI programs . The position reports to the Grants Director for the College of Health and Human Sciences and is a term-limited, grant funded position with the possibility of renewal with additional grants secured.
This role involves working closely with many different people and offices including grant program coordinators and managers, Directors of the Health Institute, the Office of University Advancement, and the Office of Sponsored Research & Programs. The position will develop, implement, and monitor data collection, analysis, outcomes, and project deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluation and Data Management :
- Manage and oversee data collection and support infrastructure development needs.
- Implement and maintain data reporting and evaluation processes.
- Guide, interpret, and synthesize data and annual reports which includes working with program coordinators, managers and the Associate Director of HI to shape all grant and annual reports by providing accurate evaluation data and explanation.
- Develop resources and materials, such as data tracking and evaluation tools, needs assessments, reporting policies, and templates.
- Provide training to HI staff on data collection and evaluation systems and processes to staff to ensure correct data collection.
- Develop data collection tools, methodologies, instruments, and reports to assess the effectiveness of programming delivered by partner organizations.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and growth within the program.
- Act as a collaborator and active team member, contributing to various projects as necessary throughout the year.

Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Research, Statistics, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in government and private funded research and evaluation activities
- Proficiency in data analysis with Qualtrics, Atlas-TI, Excel, SPSS or other evaluation platforms.
- Previous experience with report development
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience identifying and executing opportunities for process improvement including RCQI
Work Hours
This is a part-time, 4 - 8 hour per week hybrid position with the expectation to be on campus intermittently as needed for meetings. Most research activities will be conducted remotely.
